At Wild Encounters, the welfare of our animals is always our highest priority.
All of the animals we bring to your party, school, nursery or group event are cared for to the highest welfare standards, in full compliance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
Our premises are regularly inspected by an appointed Animal Welfare Officer to ensure we continue to meet and maintain these standards.
We are also fully licensed by LBRUT for the keeping and training of animals for exhibition, giving you complete confidence that our animals are kept, handled and transported responsibly and professionally.
Rescued & Rehabilitated Animals
Many of the animals in our care have been rescued, rehomed or rehabilitated by us after becoming unwanted pets or animals in need of a second chance.
Every animal we care for is treated as a valued member of our family, not just an exhibit. We dedicate a great deal of time, resources and care to ensuring each animal has the correct environment, nutrition and veterinary care needed to live a healthy and enriched life.
By attending a Wild Encounters animal experience, you are also helping support the ongoing care and welfare of these amazing animals.

Animal Welfare Always Comes First

This ensures that every animal is transported, handled and rested responsibly.
However, we always guarantee that there will be a wonderful variety of animals for children and guests to learn about, interact with and enjoy during the experience.
Learning Through Respect for Animals
